Daryl, Johannie & Anoushka in Dubai

soaking in the culture... at a Bedouin camp in the middle of the Desert. Very nice eco-tourism. At around 10pm, they switched off all the lights, and we were able to contemplated the stars, from lying on carpets @ the oasis. With no roads, or any civilization anywhere near, the sky was very clear.

Daryl dressing up:

Anoushka was not too sure of mommy in a Burka:

At Sunset, we rode camels around the Oasis:

Johannie was too sick after the rollercoster drive through the dunes to get on the camels:

Dune Bashing in Dubai

The worst rollercoster rides don't even come close to dune-bashing in the Desert. I have a new found respect for these Toyota 4x4 ! Johannie felt really sick, while Anoushka laughed all the way (when went to sleep).
